Collection of Primitive Objects
In this series, I experiment with unusually shaped objects that exist in the void between the functional and the sculptural. While the forms allude to functionality, they deliberately fall short of utility. In doing so, the work challenges the concept of usefulness that dominates our interaction with and perception of the material world.
This work was exhibited at the Gosford Regional Gallery as part of the 2016 Gosford Art Prize Finalists' Exhibition.
